also not sure about ontario but bc does digital drivers licenses. They have holigrams on them and are made using digital pics they take... they've also got lasered images in the background... so tons of security features so they don't care if you smile or not but usually tell you to.. and btw if they take your pic most will show it to you and ask you if you like it. If not they'll retake up to 4x and let you choose the best.
