I believe that owners of building should have the right to record and use video that shows their property and within a reasonable range of potential damage to it. I don't believe that police should automatically be able to request that video for purposes that do not involve the property or the people associated with it. To get that video they should need a warrant, even if the property owners agree to share it freely.

I don't believe that the police should have cameras of their own in constant use on city streets.
