But it would hinge on not being able to easily record and re-transmit the IP.

Consider a server that will only serve a MP3 to a specific client - one that doesn't keep a local copy in any way. One that must identify the user - for billing purposes. Charge $.15 per song - it's a personal jukebox!

Or for the same client, but anonymous - tack an ad to the beginning of every song - which makes the song paid for by the advertiser.

It could work.

I just have one question: What is the ASP loophole?
