ATTN: Gentoo sys-kernel/vanilla-sources users by Celticess 2003-08-26 16:15:56
I don't use the gentoo-sources but on emerge -puDv world it's saying it wants to install it and lists it as an "N"(new)... any of the rest of you getting that? It just gave me/installed the source for 2.4.22 vanilla... and since I don't use the gentoo source kernel I'm wondering why the heck it's wanting to install it. :/ Tho admittedly I just "emerge -C vanilla-sources-2.4.21" because I don't need it... typically I use the 2.4.20 but I'm going to compile the 22 and see how it works. I'm wondering if I should "emerge -i gentoo-sources" to fix it wanting to grab that file... any ideas as to why it's up to this?
