People who *want* to rip off the system just out of selfish, self-centered
motives can pirate Satelite signals, or put an illegal ap on someone else's cable,
steal (shoplift) books and CDs from stores, copy library CDs, etc.

If people see the system as fair -- or at least not onnerous -- most of
them will generally pay.

Even PBS gets 1/2 their funding from individual public donations.
Remember that this is from people already paying for cable access.

I think what's bugging me is the potential here for effectively divying up
the internet among 'content providers', and the likely consequences
that would have.
