Desktop Screenshot thread... by Eric2006-11-19 12:55:59

gentoo linux: Openbox GUI. The bar on the bottom is called a slit and it runs window maker dock apps. The thing on the left is gkrellm. Thing above that is xmms using the geckAMP skin if I remember right. And here is a description of what all is in there. Gkrellm has: bubble fishymon(system load stats thing... fishies are network trafic flowing in and out, bubbles is how hard the cpu is working, the rubber ducky just looks cute), seti7(shows seti's progress and starts/stops it on click), cpu/board temps, eth0 activity, physical memory/swap stats, mount/umount/eject(well eject as applicable) dvd/cdr/floppy/windows drive, mail checker(on click launches email program), master volume control, reminder(tells me if I've got an appointment, etc via popup or sound or both), screenlock/screencapture, and uptime. The slit: bbrun, wmweather, wmitime, wminet, drawer(click the folder and get a bunch of tiny icons... click one of them to launch a program), wmcalc, wmdocker(with trillian docked), and bbpager.(change or move things on a desktop without changing desktops or change to a desktop) The thing above the slit is goom which is a xmms visualization plugin.
