                    God's law by Illiad 2003-08-26 11:33:02
I recall a CBC radio show where they were discussing law and its effects in secular society. One woman phoned in to say that God's law was more important than secular law; the radio show guest replied that God's law wasn't pertinent to this discussion and the woman went ballistic. "And why not?!!" was the heated retort from said caller.

The host quickly and decisively cut the call and stated that perhaps a future show could deal with the rift that exists between religious and secular society, and that that day's show wasn't the proper forum. They went to break, and when they returned the show host reported that the board lit up with angry calls from people (presumeably ones who agreed with the woman) who demanded that the show immediately expand to cover the topic of religious law.

Ay caramba.
