search for all files of pattern *.wab on the machine, back them up... the largest one is probably the one you want.
after your fresh install, again, search for *.wab and you'll probably only find one. That's the one you want to replace with the one you've backed up.
you can do something similar with the message stores. Go into OE, tools > options > maintenance > store folder. Browse to it, go up a level and copy the "Outlook Express" folder inside that really long GUID-named folder. After you reinstall, go back into maintenance and find what identities folder you are using now (it's alwys different!), close OE, wait a few minutes for OE to actually close :-) then put the "Outlook Express" folder back into your new identities folder.
You can move account settings just by using the import/export to .iaf on the accounts box.
