And my mother in law is a "Martha Stewart type." My SO insists on cleaning the house before her mother comes up and yet the first thing my mother-in-law does when she arrives is clean the house and do the laundry. I keep telling my SO to just leave the mess there. Her mother will clean it for us. ;-)
