Cleaning the house in 30 minutes by SaleGamine2003-08-26 08:14:56
They're very useful - I'll bear them in mind. by Stavros 2003-08-26 08:27:14
There is also the Mike method. It is named after one of my housemates at Uni, and runs as follows.

When some freak series of events occur that make Mike actually want to tidy his room, such as his girlfriend and/or royalty coming round, he can make his room look tidy within the space of a few minutes. He simply moves everything indiscriminately - bits of paper, rubbish, sweet wrappers, clothes, unmentionable objects, the lot - from the centre of the room to the outskirts of it. A similar effect can be achieved by running a tornado through the east side of the house.
