I just don't understand people some times. It's not that complicated. They're little deluxe rats that like to bite. Furthermore, when any animal is in a cage, it feels extra defensive. DUH. So some idiot sees my coworker's ferrets in a cage (they're on the way home from the vet) and, without using those brains God gave him, sticks his finger right into the cage and SURPRISE the ferret gives the finger a good chomp. GOOD GRIEF! How STUPID can you get??? ^{<mumble>Fortunately, the nurse says my finger will be ok</mumble>}
