here is the relevant part of my grub.conf. LILO works similar, i guess. BTW, the correct command to get help about grub is "info grub", not "man grub".

So, here we go:

title Windows
        map (hd0) (hd1)
        map (hd1) (hd0)
        rootnoverify (hd1,0)
        chainloader +1
you may want to add a "makeactive" there somewhere. The 'map' part is the important stuff. It looks silly, but it works =)

NOTE: grubs starts counting drives and partitions at ZERO, not at one. Don't let that confuse you. chears
