I'm getting sick of my job. by Silvermoon822003-08-26 06:44:07
What you have to consider... by e_bosscher 2003-08-26 07:07:03
Is where the current job is going to take you next. Will this part time job in retail advance you further down the road to a job in what you really want to do (from what I can see you're very techno-savvy and sound like you would enjoy getting into software development/design) or will the full time job activating cell phones actually help you out?

Depends where you want to go, and what you want to do. I know where I work I'm both the senior developer, and second level support (which means I get called all the time, because first level support doesn't know the product worth beans). If I had some time dealing with clients over the phone, helping solve technical issues as a full time job it may very well have helped me in my current job.

See what I mean? Life isn't about boxing yourself into one absolute or another, especially not with work, rather it's about building yourself up to make the next transition, achieving the next level.

Oh, and as one last thing - are you of Dutch decent? Opa is not exactly the english version of grandfather.

Cheers
