Umm...Slackware/Windows help by Egaeus 2003-08-26 05:45:31
Okay, I just installed slackware 8.0 (it's the latest one I have) on my spare HD. I made it the master, since my win HD was in another computer while I was monitorless. Anyway, I trusted it to be able to boot windows, and itstalled lilo on the MBR. Now my windows is hosed. It just sits there with the message, "Booting DOS" if I use lilo, and if I try to boot from the disk directly, it just says, "LI" on the screen. Is there anything I can do besides reinstalling windows? It was a "good" installation that wouldn't crash. I checked lilo.conf, and it is pointing to the correct partition on the windows HD, so I'm clueless. I'll be in and out, so TIA.
