re:this. You need to find yourself either an uncursed ring or boots of levitation. Then levitate and follow the moat around to the back of the castle and use the rear entrance. You will still need the levitation because of the pit traps into hell. Dont disturb the dragons either side, just use the corridor with the 4 pits and open the door. You can take on the baddies one at a time then (but watch out for the phasing baddies like the xans). Another tip: I noticed a few trolls there, when you kill em try and eat 'em or zap 'em with a wand of cancellation to stop them regenerating.
