we aren't trying to get a mass storage device installed...we're going for harder...a linksys wireless adapter.

in some great wisdom my school's techie decided to put wireless into the dorms insted of wired, but because this is los angeles and earthquake country the buildings are built with steel framework, not wood. on top of this, the school is too cheap to buy more than one wireless router for a building and they bought soho crap from linksys insted of real campus grade equipment.

to get internet one must use wireless. luckily my friend's building works...my building doesn't yet, so i connect through my cell phone.
