Repost of Linux USB Prob question from yesterday by compubmw2006-11-19 12:55:59
  OHCI... by DaNutBall 2003-08-26 00:18:12
OK; here's the skinny. What I'm suggesting is that Red Hat is autodecting wrong. It think it needs the UHCI driver (Intel and VIA's implentation of USB) when it should be OHCI (Compaq/HP/Apple/etc's implentation of USB).

"modprobe" is the command (Yes; I'm suggesting command line.) used to load kernel modules (drivers). So type in "modprobe ohci" to load the OHCI USB driver.
