I used to know which two leads on the ATX powerhead to short out to test and see if the PS is good - the plug on the mainboard that has a switch on the front of the case connected to it does basically the same thing - I =think= it's pins 9 and 14, a black ground wire and a green wire, but don't take me at face value - been a while since I did it. You can find the info on the 'net if you want - is where we dug it up. Try the other components on a working test mule and see if anything else is smoked, etc. etc. etc.
