Pronounced Doog. Doug wasn't the swiftest programmer in the world. My brother found the escape sequences to alter a number of different settings on the terminal. One of those sequences changed the screen from 80 columns to 132 columns. Eventually, Doug found out when one of my brother's co-workers created a "F*** around with Doug" menu which Doug eventually found. Doug quit about 3 weeks later.
