Gonna try out for some plays by SnappingTurtle 2003-08-24 16:56:13
Starflower and I decided tonight that our schedule permits me to try out for a play this fall. Yeehah! We've been wanting to get me back on stage for quite some time, but our schedule really hasn't permitted it until now. So I'm going to start checking out the call board on campus and see if there's something that looks like a good match. I'm going to stick to small workshop productions, no big hoohahs like "Hamlet".

Hmm, it looks like I'm going to need to implement a moral decision I made when we got married nine years ago but which has never been an issue until now. I don't feel comfortable kissing other women (or guys for that matter) in a play. I need to clarify that when I audition. That'll be awkward.

Not that I've been in that situation. I've only ever had one role that called for me to kiss a girl. Interestingly, that production was directed by my future wife.
