Lemme explain what I mean...
Don't go overboard with ANYTHING, and try not to completely ignore your obligations.
For instance, it's important to study ... but don't go overboard with it. Practice moderation. :)
Also, definitely definitely find friends and spend time with them -- it'll help relieve the stress (which will make studying easier to stomach!) :) However, don't spend so much time with them that you neglect everything else.
Same goes for online time. Don't cut yourself off from the online world, but don't let it consume you.
I could go on, but I bet you got the gist. :)
Have fun with college! Take the classes *you* want to take (don't do anything because you think it'll help you get a job or because your parents want you to... you learn better when you actually want to learn and you're excited by the material). Go to parties. Remember, for most people this is their last chance to enjoy their time before they have to start worrying about making money and supporting themselves (though for some people, they're already having to do that while in college... heh...)
But yeah, ... don't stress too much (though some stress is good), don't party too much (though some partying is necessary), ...
oh yeah - and don't be afraid to talk to your professors after class or in their office hours. That's something I really wish I'd done more of in college.
