doing my first bootstrap(of a linux system)... and yep p100 has bad ram(found that out when building a ramdisk) Now the amdk6-2 is bootstrapping in gentoo under a knoppix cd... the floppy distros were tempermental but this one in the end won on cd... also set it to boot knoppix desktop=fluxbox screen=800x600 vrefresh=60 lang=us :) worked like a charm tho was weird downloading the tarball for stage 1... it saved to /home/knoppix :P
