An obscure farm device created in the mid 18th century, the original Clumpacrap was designed to collect compostable waste from open fields (typically the cow pasture), break it up into small lumps (using a system of progressively smaller hammers - the clumpabox), which could then be evenly distributed across the desired crop. Despite being a better technical solution, the relative cost in comparision to standard fertilizer distribution methods meant that the device never gained mass acceptance.
