Puppies are sooo cute. So are kittens (but none of them peed on me today).
Today was my first day as a humane society volunteer. (The yellow nametags were in.) I got to play with a little black setter/spaniel mix named Sabrina, who was only 2 months old. When she got tired she curled up on my lap and fell asleep. Then she suddenly got really warm... and my leg was all wet. :-)
I also got to play with several kittens and cats. All very, very cute and sweet, except one mean old tom that wanted to remove my fingers. Cats are weird... I can understand purring, and hissing, and all that, but... what does it mean when a cat sticks its tail straight in the air and shoves its butt in my face?
Looking forward to a Monday (when I can go back) seems so weird... |
