So is most of the software out there. The project I work on wouldn't make any sense to open source (to specific to the company, could give the competitors an edge), but the libraries etc it uses could be.

If that happened (don't expect it anytime soon from my company) I could get paid to work on open source. More realisticly, the way my company is going someone in India will get paid to work on open source.:>(
