<rant>Is there something in the air or water in new zealand that makes their system admins STUPID? I have lost count of the number of messages I've received from .nz isp's letting me know that "I've" sent somebody at their service the sobig.f virus (often with the disclaimer that, if I don't really think I've sent it, it may be klez....). I've tried contacting some of them to suggest that, perhaps, they should acknowledge that most spam/viruses are sent with FORGED RETURN ADDRESSES so it might be wise to just turn off the auto-responders to avoid annoying the rest of the internet. (of course, I've received no response from that request, either....)</rant>
on a totally unrelated note, I finally got the wheels back on my rx-7 (had to use a cylinder hone to mill a few thousandths of an inch of aluminum off --- totally destroyed the hone in the process) so I can now drive the fun car while the weather is still nice! |
