Mozilla Malfunction - Help! by niwikki2003-07-11 19:42:23

thanks for the info! by niwikki 2003-07-11 22:36:33
I'll try that next.

I tried norton (kept coming up with no problems), so I ran speed disk in case there was a fragment causing problems (I know, I know, but I was feeling superstitious), and techtool.. even tried running norton av (though admittedly the definitions are nearly 3 years old...) so I'm going to restart again and see if that worked.

funny thing is, when it crashes it takes my internet connection with it -- suddenly my email program gets stuck while trying to retrieve mail, and my ethernet control program won't let me disconnect, and the computer would always hang when trying to restart, so I'd have to force the restart. it's really odd.

I'm glad I've got a second computer I can use when one of them acts up... and I'm really lucky they both haven't decided to act up at the same time ::knock on wood::. heh.
