That's the point.

I think you and I read the questions differently. Your take on "b" seems to be "I can be better online because I can time my interactions to when I can best provide the answer I'd want to provide." To me, that's an A answer, not a B answer.

My take on B is "I will do things online to be 'nicer' that I wouldn't *care* to do IRL". You apparently care, just sometimes the crush of RL situations makes you do something you'd've done differently had you time to reflect.

That applies to all of us, I think.

You're saying, as I read it, "I want to be the best me possible, in any forum, and the rules of online socialization make it easier to monitor that". That I can agree with. What I can't agree with is "I want to be the best me possible online, because the real me sucks." That's how *I* read (past tense, that word doesn't lend itself to typing and making that clear :) ) a B answer.
