He's doing single molecule reactions. Interesting stuff. We talked about how undergraduate school is the best thing ever. He gave me an interesting problem to work out. If you have 6 resistors arranged in a cube, the resistors on the vertices, with resistance R, what is the current A across the diagonal? We talked about stupid bosses and doing homework. Stuff like that. Very dry sense of humor.
