You are correct that RP would line up more with C. It's B that's the insidious role playing as I see it, though. Please don't take this as an attack, but this is my honest thought on the matter. If one is trying to be an "idealized" version of themself online, that tells me that there's parts of who they are in real life that they don't like. If I were in that situation, I would work on those issues IRL and let that improvement "just happen" online as it does IRL. If one only focuses on those issues while online while allowing the behavior that is not part of their "ideal me" to continue IRL, one risks net-addiction in a serious way. If the person you are online is your ideal and you only become that person when online... where are you likely to spend your time?
