These are my normal migraine symptoms:
- horrible pain
- nausea (probably from the pain)
- dizzyness
- sensitivity to light, certain sounds (anything sudden, high-pitched, sharply changing)
- slurred speech is normal for the bad ones
- impaired fine motor control
- trembling
- quick onset
- "cycles" over the course of several days
The ones that really concerned the paramedics the last time were:
- near-total loss of motor control (I couldn't walk under my own power)
- extremely sudden onset, combined with a flash of light
- pupils dilated, responded slowly
I've not had a bad one in a long time, but this is shaping up to be pretty horrible. This is day 2 (for a year or two I've been able to measure my headaches in 'hours' rather than 'days'). |
