Woohoo!! by subbywan 2003-07-11 18:36:38
Drama averted.

I was supposed to have a midterm on Wednesday for a distance education class I am taking. We had 4 days, mon-thurs to take it.

Tuesday comes and I'm told I have a conference call on Wed that I need to take part in. So I call the testing center and reschedule. I know Thurs is going to be busy, and (this is where I screwed up) I wasn't checking dates and had it in my mind that I could take the test all week, so I asked specifically if I could take THAT test on Friday. They said yes, and I booked my time.

I get there this morning, and am rather peturbed when I can't take the test. Needless to say, I realise my mistake, much to my horror.

So I call the prof and emailed and *finally* got a response back late this evening and I can take it on Tuesday at her office. I have to provide proof that I was actually busy and she's going to check with the testing center to check that I did actually make the appointment.

Now, I understand why she's doing that, and I'm fine with it. I'd do the same. I'm just REALLY glad I don't have to take a 0 on that test!
