I just had an experience with mindblocks. by Llyr 2003-07-11 18:20:30
I noticed a scar on my arm, and I thought to myself, "How did I get that?" After puzzling over that for a while, I remembered where and when I got it, and what generally happened (it was in a parking lot a few months back, I was climbing over a split-rail fence thing when it broke and dumped me on the ground). But when I tried to concentrate on my memories of the occasion, I felt my brain sliding off onto other subjects. Only by closing my eyes and concentrating quite hard could I get detailed information out of my memory, and even then, the actual impact with the ground eluded me. Weeeird. :)
