| Mind you, Ænima is a very very close second. On Undertow, every minute of every track is an experience worth your time to listen to. With Lateralus, I found that "Faaip De Oiadd" (or however you spell it..) just wasn't that good, and Triad was pretty forgettable as well. It's a great album, but there's minor things that set it behind the others. Undertow is the only Tool album that I almost always listen to without ever skipping a track. Every song on there is classic, even the (now traditional on every Tool album) semi-joking final track "disgustipated". |
