in Dawson's Creek where Pacey joined a boiler-room type broker's office. The indoctrination scene (with all the potential employees sitting around a conference room table) was word-for-word straight out of the movie Boiler Room (Ben Affleck, Giovanni Ribisi). I'm just glad they didn't end up having the storyline work its way through the same way... that would've been really pathetic. But that's the way of TV and movies. When TV runs out of ideas, they look to the movies. When movies run out of ideas, they look to TV. ... but thanks for the reminder about Ladyhawke! I've gotta go rent that now that I'm probably old enough to understand it... it was way above my head when I saw it in the theaters, I was so young. :)
