That just means:
His lawyer told him to display remorse, in hopes of a lighter sentence.
...and kicking the disemboweled cat was artistic expression
...meant to show the cruelty of society I suppose, not just Matt
I would think a cat would be trying to shred his arms with its
claws and bite him LONG before real torture was happening.
Especially an alley cat, would just want to get away
One of my other reactions is:
You try to think the best of other people you meet,
but there ARE some people around, who just have a CRUEL streak,
and if he'll do that, even to an animal, then his reguard
for people probably isn't THAT great either.
(he just doesn't think he could get away with it)
Even when ANIMALS kill something, they don't torture
their prey, just get it over with. Yea, I know that
cats play with their prey... but they don't 2/3 kill
it, and then torture. It's more hunt & pounce practice
until they decide to kill- then it's fairly quick. |
