With money tight, should I put down for a cert? by DaNutBall2003-07-11 12:23:13

Exactly with the lists by DaNutBall 2003-07-11 13:22:11
So having what is on "the list" (so that the HR person doesn't lose his/her job) seems to be more important. MCSE is $750; A+ $290; CCNA $2000... oh and employers should usually pay for those things, but they refuse and demand that the worker burden those costs.

Now as for brainbench -- I looked over their exams and felt that if I was going to throw $300 into getting one of their certifications, I may as well do the same thing getting something on a check list. But it wouldn't hurt to put down something that is available for free though.

I feel like... *puts on a flame-retardant suit* making a union some days with all the stupid requirements and corperate abuse of techs...
