I do realize that it is impossible to read the original, because as you said all transcriptions were done by the hands of men.

However I do disagree with the first part, as the Bible clearly states that "all Scripture is given by inspiration of God" (2 Timothy 3:16, NIV). In the original texts, God told the people what to write with no possibility of error. He "inspired" them, not in the sense that we use it today, but more in the sense that He (and this is explaining it badly, but I'm tired) temporarily allowed them to be perfect in the sense that they were able to perfectly write the original texts.

It's not like dictating, which is the way that we think of it today. The Holy Spirit inside them literally enabled them to write it.
