As Benjamin Franklin once said. "He who gives up his freedoms for security will soon have neither". I happen to agree with Mr. Franklin.

I see the fact that some people who have committed crimes go free as a small price to pay to avoid a complete totalitarian society, which is what will happen if you start to destroy individual rights. You don't need to get ridiuculous about it, it just needs to be the number one priority.
