I want the person in power who will most accurate represent what I want in a government. I don't care what party they're on. If they have a good track record and they want the things I want, I'm going to vote for them. If that means I vote republican for the rest of my life, fine. If it means I never vote republican again, also fine. I don't give a toss about the party as a whole, only if the person I'm casting my vote for will do the job I want them to do.
