Only that we use a democratic basis for elections. Most people arne't educated enough to realise that party politics AREN'T real politics and they get swept up and vote based on their emotions vs their knowledge of candidate history/platforms. Politicans like it this way, because they can use outrage rather than logic to get people onto their side.
