Hmm US Army policed it prior to WW1 and protected the borders. Was the main source of Latex Rubber for the Allies in WW2 Throughout the cold war Liberia was an Intelligence base for the USA USA was part of the group that mediated the 1996 peace agreement. and thats all the time I'm speniding on it.
