Your sleep schedule is your own. Any disruption of it is rude.

Looking at your exceptions, I have to agree - it is possible to be rude to your SO and/or children, and to fail to meet your responsibilities by having an inappropriate sleep schedule. But that does not make it any less rude to wake you up. Two wrongs do NOT make a right.

The only time it should not be considered rude to wake someone else up is if you know they would wish to be awake. As in, they asked you to, or you know they are about to miss something they indicated they wanted.
