Hey, four cases is nothing! In Polish you have six (I think?), and even numbers have them. Additionally, numbers from three on need different cases, so it's different to say 'three boys' than 'four boys', and in 'three boys', the three is different from 'three girls'! I hope I remembered that right, it's my mother who learned this stuff. Anyway, quite a few germans aren't that good with their own cases...
