I've recently tended to shy away from religious discussions in topics like these. I'm usually in the minority with my viewpoints (that part doesn't bother me) and I tend to get hit on many sides all at once. It becomes very difficult to make clear and thought-out posts to many people at the same time, and if you ignore one or two it just creates a whole big mess.

Especially regarding this QOTD, the people you are arguing with have already specifically rejected the religion (as evidenced by their posting here) and thus, attempting to argue with them will most likely prove rather pointless.

Had you not brought up the topic, I doubt I would have responded :)

Nothing wrong with religious discussion, I've just found that it's a LOT easier to pick your battles, and especially make sure that you have the time and energy to fight them when you do.
