I think the difference in beauty between the german and the english language is that the beauty of the german language lies in its complexity and the ability of creating new composed words, that allows you to elaborate things in a really beutiful if somewhat epical way.
On the contrary the beauty of the english language lies in my opinion in its crispness and being very to the point. Which is especially well suited for the dry british humor that I really like, as it makes puns and ironic/sarcastic remarks so easy and "punchy"...(and it's great for swearing, too ;) |
