I was raised "evangelisch-lutherisch" (from what I've read, the American "Evangelical Lutherans" are definitely NOT the same thing). Well, not strictly. My parents were quite liberal about it, saying "This is our story. Believe it or not."
Then, round about that wonderful age of 13, when I was doubting the existence of pretty much anything, I found that I couldn't reconcile a deity with my worldview at all. After a brief bout of solipsism, I decided that I could be wrong and went agnostic instead. When I'd found User Friendly, Eric introduced me to Discordianism. Finally a religion that didn't pretend that the world made sense if you applied its teachings! I quickly converted, and there was much rejoicing.
A bit less than a year ago I found Cod, whose cult is basically a fishier Discordianism. I've stayed a Codite ever since.
