The audience here is extremely well informed (see geeks), with specialists from a wide range of fields. If you attempt to BS your way through any argument, they'll catch you in a hurry. If someone brings up a topic on which you lack any knowledge (sub atomic particles for instance), it is wise to a quick Google search to make sure you're information is correct. Before trying to use any anecdote as fact, go to snopes.com to make sure it isn't an urban legend. Basically realize that will be dealing with some of the smartest people you have ever met (online or off) and most with ample debate experience. PS. There is a being who reside here named Naruki. If you have any doubts about your self-esteem or the strength of your arguments, Naruki is to be avoided. Don't take Naruki's barbs too personally, Naruki treats almost everyone that way.
