Born officially christian protestant, however, never baptized or dogmatized. First real contact was in primary school, where it was taken for granted that you were a believing christian, so I trotted along for the first year or so. Sometime around third grade I decided that the whole thing just seemed too improbable.
I remember experimenting when I was about 7 years old, sitting in a chair near the window during a thunderstorm, and alternatly saying "there is no god", then waiting to see if he reacted(thunder), and then backpedaling with "ok ok, God exists....maybe.." |
