I started out as a protestant and had an intense kind of children's belief until logic cut in and told me: There are so many different religions, they can't possibly all be right. So probably they are all wrong. I believe the world is more complex and beautiful than we can ever understand, and that is fine by me. And I believe that the structure I am now will disappear with my body (sad, but I can't help believing it). But I will have been, and that's something, isn't it?
